Gift Horse left the stable in 2021 as a gathering of longtime friends who share a love for classic and psychedelic rock, soul, blues, roots country, and rock and roll. They feature two generations of musicians known for decades to Tucson (and beyond) with bands including The Bluerays, Legion of Mario, The Opposables, Pistachio, Southbound Pilot, The Excelerators, Tucson Modern Jazz Quartet, and others. A true family affair featuring fathers and sons, brothers and sisters, and a couple brothers from different mothers, some say Gift Horse is a gift that keeps on giving. Their music celebrates the spirit of groove with tight harmonies, infectious rhythms, feel-good jams, and always a twist of the unexpected.
